Bad Caveman
Wow, I have been a bad caveman. It has been 6 months since reporting any progress! Let me tell you, I hope none of you were relying on my advice to survive. With that said, if you were relying solely on the advice of an internet caveman, you may want to get your melon checked.
A lot has happened in the last six months. Baby cavegirl has grown to where she can walk and talk, I have started a new job on a different career trajectory (more on that later), I have started going back to school, and well, we have shifted priorities in the weight room.
Let’s recap:
When we left off in April, I was 199lbs and 20% BF. I was eating Paleo and lifting heavy weights. None of this has really changed. I have maintained around the 195lb mark and hover around 20% BF. Definitely not something worth bragging about on the internet, but there is more to this caveman than eating and lifting.
The last six months have involved quite a bit of reflection and evaluation. This brings me back to why I started this blog in the first place. While I enjoy eating, lifting, and chasing the occasional woolly mammoth, I want to tie all of this together in a more meaningful manner.
Before we can get anywhere, let’s work on some goals.
